Shared Intelligence: Know Where You Stand. See What the Best Do Differently.
Shared Intelligence shows each customer where they stand against companies like them, and what the leaders do differently. Built into every app on Prism, with names replaced by coded keys, figures released only from five companies or more, and an opt out for every customer.
Shared Intelligence is a module of Prism, built into every illuminis app. Every customer of an app does similar work. Shared Intelligence brings that work together, protects it, and gives every contributing customer benchmarks and best practices from companies like them.
A Number on Its Own Tells You Nothing
A 62 day sales cycle could be excellent or alarming. Shared Intelligence puts every figure next to the median, the top quarter and the best in class for companies of the same size, industry and region, measured from the work they actually did rather than from a survey.
Questions It Answers
Sales: is our sales cycle long for a company our size?
Spend: are we paying more than our peers for the same category?
Inventory: are we holding too much stock?
Workforce: is our overtime normal for our industry?
AI cost: are we paying too much for each task AI finishes?
Finance: how fast do others pay suppliers and close the month?
How It Works
Contribute: each app names the records it pools, collected nightly from every customer taking part.
Protect: company and person names are replaced by coded keys; free text and real identities are sealed with separate encryption keys.
Compare: records are grouped by company size, industry and region, and a figure is released only when it draws on at least five companies and twenty records.
Act: contributing customers see their position, the median, the top quarter and the best in class inside the app. Best practice recommendations from the same pool are rolling out to every app.
Collect Everything. Expose Nothing.
Nobody is ever named
No figure from fewer than five companies
Separate encryption keys for figures, content and identities
No person reads pooled content in ordinary operation
Every trace back to a source is limited, justified in writing and logged in that company's audit log
Erasure requests remove pooled records, listed on the erasure certificate
Every Customer Decides
Taking part is on by default and one click turns it off, deleting anything waiting to be pooled. Companies that contribute receive benchmarks; companies that do not, do not. The app owner switches the module on, chooses which parts of the app contribute, sets the refresh schedule and can exclude outliers.
