Learn how InferTrust™ maintains full cryptographic decision integrity in disconnected, edge, and low-connectivity environments.
Yes. InferTrust™ (Patent Pending) is designed to maintain full cryptographic decision integrity in offline, edge, and low-connectivity environments. Offline operation is a core architectural capability, not a degraded mode.
InferTrust™ stores signing keys in hardware-backed secure storage on the local device, such as a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) or secure enclave. When the AI model produces a decision without network connectivity, InferTrust™ generates the cryptographic signature locally using the same algorithms and standards as connected operation.
When connectivity is restored, InferTrust™ securely synchronizes offline records with the central platform. The synchronization process verifies the local hash chain integrity, reconciles local timestamps with authoritative time sources, and integrates offline records into the unified audit trail. The reconciliation itself is signed, maintaining an unbroken chain of cryptographic proof from offline operation through reconnection.
