How Does CompletionPrism™ Know What Rework Costs Us?

Companies set their own labor rates. CompletionPrism™ prices rework at the real hourly rate of the people who would fix a wrong answer.

You Set the Labor Rates

Rework is the time a person spends noticing a wrong answer and putting it right. Its cost depends on who that person is. An hour of a senior engineer's time costs more than an hour of an analyst's. CompletionPrism™ lets each company set its own labor rates in Administration, so rework is priced at what it really costs that company.

How Rework Is Estimated

Rework time is estimated by task type, using the CompletionPrism™ Rework Task Taxonomy, then multiplied by the labor rate. Because it is an estimate, every rework figure is labelled estimated on the receipt.

Why It Matters

Rework is usually the largest cost on short work, and it never appears on the AI invoice. Without a labor rate, a cost tool can only compare token prices, which is how companies end up choosing models that cost more to finish the work. See CompletionPrism™.
